Vail, Colorado

ski lift

Per your votes, we stopped off at Vail, Colorado to take in the local scenery. We spotted the ski lift at Lionshead Village and exposed ourselves to off-season tourism, Swedish clogs, and mad mountain bikers. The town is excessively cute and I see the appeal to snuggle up there and watch ski pro’s over a cup of hot cocoa during Winter. But during the Summer? Not so much. It has a slight air of retail desperation.
