About Roadtripping

Hello! Thanks for following our roadtrip along Route 66 and beyond! We want to make the trip as interactive as possible, so leave us comments here, send us tweets via Twitter (@zesmerelda and @piratealice), please, please, please donate to the cause if you would like to help our trip along.

Tripping along the road are:
Tammy – Tammy is responsible for web & technical support, photography, on-the-road dining decisions. She’s in search of kitsch, americana, and whatever the road may offer.

and

Pattie – Is our formula 1 driver, master of music, and in charge of cookie procurement. She hopes to find the wonders of alpaca on this trip.

and

Janet – our trusty stead. Janet is a cosmic grey Saturn L300, capable of speeds up to 130mph. She has great pick-up and tight handling. She was recently violated by pigeons and is seeking therapy.

and

Bonto – Tammy’s travel mascot. She’s a little goth girl with sewn lips and a velcro patch. She’s quietly evil but we hope that her presence brings us luck on the journey.

and

Huggy Jesus – Pattie’s travel mascot. Huggy Jesus is always willing to share the love of the road and bless innocent by-standers. Huggy Jesus is full of fun and no trip is complete without his holy presence. He’s considering a toe ring.
